A while ago, I suggested that I would be moving the blog from Wordpress to MobileMe. Economic factors in addition to simplicity of administration were main concerns. I am no longer so inclined.
More that a few people have asked me to post more frequently and regularly. They seem to enjoy my rants and fringe arguments, so it seemed to me that since I quite enjoy doing so, I would indulge myself.
However, a self-hosted Wordpress is vastly superior to a relatively static MobileMe site. What a wonderful thing if Apple would simply provide php support. I would switch in a heartbeat. Nevertheless, given my love for being connected no matter where I am, the flexibility that self-hosted Wordpress affords is worth the extra complexity and the extra cost.
Some readers who are also Facebook freinds will notice that this blog auto-post the content of new posts to my Facebook stream. I am considering having it merely announce the new post to encourage people to visit here.
Now all I have to do is ensure that I post more regularly and frequently.
